Public documents

As federal law requires of every 501(c)(3), our IRS determination letter and our most recent annual returns (Form 990) are available for public inspection. Ask through the contact page or call 313-296-1227, and we'll send copies. Filed returns also appear, over time, in the IRS's public database and on nonprofit research sites.

Donations

  • Gifts to Beyond Riveting Team Inc. are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Please check with your tax advisor about your own situation.
  • Donations are processed by Zeffy and PayPal. Your payment details go directly to them; we never see or store your card number.
  • For any single gift of $250 or more, we'll provide the written acknowledgment the IRS requires. Contact us if you need one.
  • When you choose a giving category on the Support page, your gift goes to that category. General gifts go where the need is most immediate.
  • Merchandise from our Bonfire store is a purchase, not a tax-deductible donation.
  • Gifts made on a partner organization's own donation page (for example, Asam Acres) go to that organization, not to Beyond Riveting Team Inc., and are receipted by them.
  • We don't sell, rent, or trade donor names or information. See the Privacy Policy.

Our programs, including BeyondGroundwork® and Beyond the Uniform, are educational. They don't replace advice from a licensed attorney, accountant, or medical professional, and taking part doesn't create a professional-client relationship.

How we use AI

Beyond Riveting® is run by a disabled solo founder, with help from AI tools for drafting, organizing, and research. Our rule is simple: AI assists. Humans decide. A person reviews and approves everything published on this site. AI doesn't make decisions about people, programs, or donations.
